Refund & Returns Policy
Effective for all purchases made through Paudin New Zealand at www.paudin.nz
This policy applies to all transactions completed via www.paudin.nz, operated by Trading Pieces, the exclusive distributor of Paudin New Zealand.
By placing an order on our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund & Returns Policy. If you do not agree to any part of this policy, please do not proceed with a purchase.
1. Return Authorisation Required
If you wish to return an item, you must contact us first for authorisation.
Returns sent without our approval may be refused or subject to a restocking fee.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the returned item(s), we will notify you of the result.
To qualify for a refund:
Item(s) must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging
The return must be initiated within 14 days of delivery
You must follow all return instructions we provide
Refunds may be declined if the product shows signs of wear, misuse, or improper handling.
3. Refund Method & Timing
If your return is approved:
We will issue a refund to your original payment method (no cash refunds)
Refunds are typically processed within 14 business days
Some payment platforms deduct processing fees — these will be passed on and deducted from your refund
4. Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs are not covered unless the item is:
Faulty
Damaged upon arrival
Incorrectly sent
If a return is approved for one of the above reasons:
We may provide a prepaid return label
Or refund your shipping cost (within reason)
Please do not use an unnecessarily expensive shipping option. If you do, we reserve the right to deduct the excess cost from your refund.
5. Damaged or Faulty Items
If you receive an item that is damaged or defective:
Contact us immediately with your order number and clear photos
Do not discard the product or packaging before receiving our instructions
We will offer a refund, replacement, or store credit at our discretion
6. Exclusions
Refunds or returns will not be granted for:
General wear and tear or minor cosmetic blemishes
Misuse, negligence, or failure to follow care instructions
Items that have been altered, misused, or used for unintended purposes
7. Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund within 14 days of notification:
Check your bank account or credit card statement
Contact your card issuer or bank
